Happy 4th of July, Ghana!

Today is Ghana's Independence Day. A day to celebrate Ghana's break from British Colonial Rule (down with the White Man!) and being the first African nation to do so, which is actually quite impressive. Sadly, I'm having trouble taking it seriously as I haven't noticed any special celebrations (no parades, department store sales, OR fireworks). Good news is that there is virtually no traffic! The traffic in Accra is usually panic-inducing, so a day when I'm not sitting in a smog filled parking lot is a good day.
